With the continuous growth of the company, Flat Rock Technology is seeking to hire a WordPress Developer to join our team.
Main responsibilities:
- Providing detailed and reasonable estimates
- Following the instructions and report to his/her team leader
- Following the project/company standards and team working procedures
- Implementing project modules/solutions according to the project requirements
- Participating in Quality Assurance activities
- Creating technical documentation
- Implementing and providing consultancy when it comes to WordPress integration's with 3rd party systems
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of the WordPress architecture, enjoys building WP sites, implements and modifies themes and plugins, creates custom plugins
- Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best practices
- Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level
- Experience with Headless WordPress and Gutenberg
- Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions- Creation of custom post types.
- Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with WordPress coding standards.
- Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code.
- Theme/template integration.
- Knowledge of WordPress network (Multisite) beneficial.
- Experience creating multilingual websites.
- Experience with creating responsive websites.
- Has a solid understanding and experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript & JavaScript libraries (jQuery or Prototype)
- Has a solid understanding of MySQL (and PostgreSQL as an advantage)
- Wants constantly to learn and advance
- Communicates and contributes well in a team
Advantages will be:
- Previous experience in working with online systems (e.g. community systems, content management systems, eCommerce systems)
- Knowledge of the basic principles of the software development process
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, VueJS)
- Experience with Next.js
- Good English language skills
