Main responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins
• Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Google Cloud Operations Suite (Stackdriver), Prometheus, and Grafana
• Optimize cloud costs, performance, and security across GCP services
• Manage IAM roles, policies, and security configurations in line with best practices
• Troubleshoot networking issues, load balancers, and cloud storage performance
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance cloud-native application deployments
• Ensure compliance with industry security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.)

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, VPC, etc.)
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools
• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and container orchestration
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
• Understanding of networking, security best practices, and IAM policies in GCP
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, ELK, or Stackdrive
• Familiarity with incident response and system troubleshooting in cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud certifications (Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, GKE Certified Administrator, etc.)
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
