Main responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall DevOps strategy, vision, and roadmap to enhance the speed, scalability, and reliability of our software development lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive the continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automation processes, ensuring seamless software releases and deployments.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and scaling on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, operations, and security, to ensure alignment and efficient collaboration.
• Establish and enforce DevOps best practices, standards, and policies across the organization.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and trends in DevOps and cloud computing, and evaluate their potential for implementation.
• Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the DevOps team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully leading and managing DevOps initiatives.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools and practices, automation frameworks, and deployment pipelines.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby, or PowerShell).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and resolve issues efficiently.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
